Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Semifinal 1 match between 3DMAX and Astralis in the PGL Bucharest Playoffs, initially scheduled for April 10 at 10:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "3DMAX" if 3DMAX win the match against Astralis. This market will resolve to "Astralis" if Astralis win the match against 3DMAX. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Kalshi and Polymarket resolve based on the same underlying match outcome (3DMAX vs Astralis BO3 at PGL Bucharest), use HLTV.org as the primary resolution source, and apply identical logic for map counts, winners, and completion status.

Primary resolution logic:

Official HLTV.org match results; consensus of credible reporting (including video evidence) if HLTV.org has not published final results within 2 hours after event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Series completion: A match is considered completed if all maps are played to a winner, or if a team clinches the series before Map 3 is needed (e.g., 2-0 result).
  • Map count resolution (Kalshi Over 2.5 / Polymarket O/U 2.5): Resolves YES/Over if 3 or more maps are played; NO/Under if fewer than 3 maps are played. Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward the total, provided the match is completed.
  • Match winner resolution: Resolves to the team that wins the series (2 maps first). If a team wins due to opponent forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover after the match begins, that team is the winner. If the match ends due to the clinching map being forfeited, it counts as a completed match.
  • Individual map winner resolution (Map 1, Map 2): Resolves to the team that wins that specific map. If a map is not completed for any reason, resolves 50-50. If a map is not played because the series is already decided, resolves 50-50.
  • Map handicap resolution (AST -1.5 / 3DMAX -1.5): Resolves to the team that wins 2 or more maps than their opponent. Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward the handicap, provided the match is completed.
  • Odd/Even kills and rounds (Map 1, 2, 3): Resolves based on total combined kills or rounds from both teams in that map. If a map is not played because the series is already decided, resolves 50-50. If a map is canceled, not completed, or delayed beyond 7 days without play, resolves 50-50.
  • Cancellation, tie, or delay beyond 7 days: If the match is canceled entirely, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Incomplete match with no winner: If the match begins but is not completed, and one team does not win due to opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover, markets resolve 50-50 (except individual map winners if that map was completed).

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Series Clinch Before Map 3: If a team wins 2-0 (clinches the series), Map 3 is not played. Map 3 winner, Map 3 odd/even kills, and Map 3 odd/even rounds all resolve 50-50. The Over 2.5 maps market resolves Under/NO.
  • Forfeited Clinching Map: If the series-clinching map (e.g., Map 3 in a 1-1 situation) is forfeited by one team, the match is considered completed. The forfeiting team loses that map, and the series result stands. Map handicap and series winner resolve accordingly.
  • Map Remade: If any map is remade (restarted due to technical issues or other reasons), resolution is based on the remade game only, not the original attempt.
  • Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (April 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM EDT) without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Team Name Discrepancies: Minor spelling variations, sponsor tags, academy designations, or formatting differences in team names (e.g., '3DMAX' vs 'ASTRALIS') are treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly identified within the PGL Bucharest competition.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official HLTV.org publication of the final match result. If HLTV.org does not publish within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, resolution is based on consensus of credible reporting and video evidence. The scheduled match date is April 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM EDT.
