This market refers to the Counter-Strike Opening match between 100 Thieves and JiJieHao in the Stake Pulse Beat III Group B, initially scheduled for October 13, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "100 Thieves" if 100 Thieves win the match against JiJieHao. This market will resolve to "JiJieHao" if JiJieHao win the match against 100 Thieves. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 27, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 13, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own analysis and information. If there’s a significant discrepancy, it may indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the event or that new information hasn’t yet been fully incorporated into sportsbook lines. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate breaking news or changes in team conditions.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the market price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the event's potential results. The more shares purchased for a particular team, the higher its price will climb, indicating greater confidence in their victory.
This market resolves around Oct 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the 100 Thieves versus JiJieHao best-of-three Counter-Strike match as reported by the tournament organizer. The team that wins the majority of the maps played will be considered the winner of this market. Any disputes regarding the official result will be addressed according to Polymarket’s standard resolution procedures.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Unexpected news regarding player form, such as injuries or illness, could significantly shift probabilities. Major strategic announcements from either team, changes in map pools, or even significant shifts in public sentiment based on analyst predictions could all impact trading activity. In-game performance during the series itself, even in the early stages, could also cause rapid adjustments as traders react to the unfolding events and reassess the likelihood of each team winning.
