Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven by individuals freely expressing their beliefs. If sportsbook odds heavily favor one team, but volume in this market suggests a more even split, it could indicate a disagreement between professional oddsmakers and the broader public. Examining these differences can offer valuable insights into potential value or mispricing.

This market resolves around Oct 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which team scored the first goal in the Costa Rica vs. Haiti match. Official match records and reputable sports news sources will be used to verify the result. The platform will then settle the market, paying out to those who correctly predicted the first team to score.

Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or unexpected player suspensions could shift the odds. Additionally, pre-match analysis from soccer experts, weather forecasts impacting playing conditions, and even public sentiment expressed on social media could all contribute to price movements.
