PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Polymarket includes detailed no-result and abandonment provisions, while Kalshi's resolution criteria are limited to win/draw/tie.Hero tip: Polymarket's abandonment rules introduce additional risk. A canceled or abandoned game is more likely to resolve to 'No' on Polymarket.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Resolves 'Yes' if Comoros wins, otherwise 'No'. Includes extensive abandonment rules resolving to 'No' if the game is canceled, doesn't start, or is abandoned without a result by Nov 15, 2026, or based on governing body rulings/replayed results. Source: https://www.cafonline.com/
  • Kalshi: Resolves 'Yes' if Comoros wins, Congo wins, or the game is a tie. No specific abandonment or cancellation rules are provided.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. Polymarket

In the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers game between Comoros and Congo, originally scheduled for Friday, November 13, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET (as of creation of the first market related to the event):

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the full-time result of the Comoros vs Congo Republic professional AFCON Qualifiers soccer match scheduled for November 13, 2026, after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time or penalty shootouts. A victory for either Comoros or Congo Republic will resolve the respective market to Yes. If the match concludes with an equal score, the Tie market resolves to Yes. Should the game be cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, all markets will resolve to a fair price following Kalshi's standard procedures. The event explicitly excludes outcomes determined through extra time or penalties, focusing solely on the result at the end of regular playing time.
