If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially as the event approaches. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many independent traders. However, initial sportsbook odds can sometimes offer value, and discrepancies can emerge due to differing risk assessments and market efficiencies. It's common to see this market converge towards what many consider the 'true' probability of an outcome, but significant differences can persist depending on the event and public attention.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s depth—the number of shares available at different price points—indicates the level of conviction behind each outcome. Higher volume generally suggests greater confidence in a particular result, while lower volume may indicate uncertainty.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Como 1907 vs. Manchester United FC match will be used to determine the winning shares. Resolution will depend on official match results published by a recognized sporting authority. The platform will verify the outcome against these sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score will be entitled to a payout based on the market’s pricing at the time of resolution.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Como 1907 or Manchester United FC would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also influence trading activity. Unexpected news related to team morale or internal conflicts could also play a role. Public sentiment, as reflected in social media and sports news, can also contribute to price movements, although the market tends to be more driven by informed traders.
