Description

These markets assess how many goals will be scored in the first period of an upcoming NHL game between Columbus and Philadelphia. Each market corresponds to a different threshold of total goals, determining whether offensive play will exceed that benchmark in the opening period.

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams combined in the first period of the Columbus vs Philadelphia NHL game scheduled for October 27, 2026. A 'Yes' outcome occurs when the collective goals exceed the specified threshold for each respective market (0.5, 1.5, or 2.5 goals). If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original time, the result still applies based on the actual first-period score. However, if the game is cancelled or does not start within that 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price, reflecting adjusted expectations rather than the actual game outcome. Overtime goals in the third period are excluded from consideration, though this does not affect first-period scoring.
