In the third period of an NHL game between Columbus and Dallas, bettors can wager on whether the combined goals scored by both teams will exceed a certain threshold. The outcome depends solely on the scoring during that specific period, excluding any overtime play.

Kalshi

Markets resolve based on whether the collective goals scored by both teams in the 3rd Period exceed specified thresholds (0.5, 1.5, or 2.5 goals). Only goals scored during the 3rd period count; overtime goals are excluded. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the scheduled time, markets remain open and resolve based on the official result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours, markets resolve to a fair price.
