Description

This market focuses on determining which team will finish the second period of an NHL game between Columbus and Carolina with the most points. The outcome depends solely on performance during that specific period, not the overall game result. Resolutions consider potential game postponements or cancellations within a defined timeframe.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on which team finishes the second period of the Columbus vs Carolina NHL game originally scheduled for October 29, 2026, with the most points. If Carolina finishes the period with more points, the market resolves to Yes for the Carolina outcome. If Columbus finishes the period with more points, the market resolves to Yes for the Columbus outcome. If neither team finishes the period with more points—for example, if the period ends in a tie—the market resolves to Yes for the Tie outcome. Only goals scored during the second period count toward determining the winner of that period. If the game is postponed but begins within 48 hours of its originally scheduled start time, the market remains open and resolves based on the official result of the second period when the game is played. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours of its originally scheduled start time, all markets resolve to a fair price.
