These markets focus on predicting the margin of victory in the second half of a college football game between Colorado and Oklahoma State. Each market corresponds to a specific point differential threshold that must be exceeded by either team to resolve as 'Yes'.
All markets resolve based solely on points scored during the second half (including overtime) of the Colorado vs Oklahoma State college football game scheduled for October 24, 2026. For any market, if Oklahoma State wins the second half by more than the specified point margin, that market resolves to 'Yes'. Conversely, if Colorado wins the second half by more than the specified margin, that corresponding market also resolves to 'Yes'. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of its original scheduled start time, all markets remain open and resolve based on the official final second-half result. Should the game fail to start within this 48-hour window, all markets will resolve to a fair price, taking into account all known information up to that point.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own analysis. Often, prediction markets are more accurate than traditional forecasts, as they aggregate information from a diverse range of participants. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes offer value, especially if they diverge significantly from the current price in this market. It's always wise to compare both to inform your decisions.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell contracts representing different point spreads for the second half of the game. The price of each contract reflects the probability that the actual spread will fall in that range. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the likely outcome. The market depth, displayed on the dashboard, shows the available contracts at various price points, giving you an idea of the potential liquidity and order flow.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final second-half spread of the Colorado versus Oklahoma State football game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result reported by the governing sports body. The final spread will be compared to the contracts traded on Kalshi to determine payouts to contract holders. It’s important to note that the resolution process relies on publicly available, official data sources.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any significant news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategy, or even weather conditions could shift expectations and impact trading activity. Unexpected performance in the first half of the game will likely cause a substantial price movement. Public sentiment, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, can also play a role, although this market is ultimately driven by traders’ willingness to buy or sell contracts. Monitoring these signals can help you understand potential shifts in the price of this market.
