Description

This market focuses on determining which team secures a decisive lead in the final period of play during an NHL game. It evaluates whether the outcome is heavily influenced by one team's performance in the last segment of regulation time. The result hinges purely on the score differential achieved in the third period, without considering overtime or earlier periods.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on whether either Colorado or Columbus wins the third period of their scheduled NHL game by more than 1.5 goals. Only regulation time counts—overtime goals are excluded from the calculation. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains active and resolves according to the official result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within that window, all markets resolve to a fair price.
