Description

This market focuses on predicting whether one team will dominate the other by a significant margin in the first period of an upcoming hockey game. It reflects the potential for early-game momentum and strategic advantages between the two teams. The outcome depends solely on the score differential within the first period, not the final game result.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on whether either Colorado or Chicago wins the first period by more than a 1.5 goal margin. If either team achieves this margin of victory in the specified period, the corresponding market resolves to Yes. Postponements that occur within 48 hours of the scheduled start time do not affect the market, which will resolve based on the eventual official result. If the game is cancelled or fails to start within the 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price. Overtime during the third period is excluded from consideration for these markets.
