This set of markets tracks the point differential between Colorado State and Utah State in their college football game scheduled for October 31, 2026. Each market corresponds to a specific margin of victory, allowing participants to bet on whether the winning team will exceed that margin.
All markets resolve based on the official final point differential from the Colorado State vs Utah State college football game scheduled for October 31, 2026. If Utah State wins by a margin exceeding the specified threshold in any of the 'Utah St. wins by over X.X points' markets, those markets resolve to Yes; otherwise, they resolve to No. Conversely, if Colorado State wins by a margin exceeding the specified threshold in any of the 'Colorado St. wins by over X.X points' markets, those markets resolve to Yes; otherwise, they resolve to No. Should the game be postponed but commence within 48 hours of its original start time, all markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game fails to start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants under unforeseen circumstances.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different point spreads. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that spread being the final result of the game. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective expectation. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven by supply and demand; if more people believe Colorado St. will cover the spread, the price of contracts representing that outcome will increase. Conversely, increased selling pressure will lower the price.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final point spread will be determined by the official result of the Colorado St. vs Utah St. football game. The market will settle to 100 for the contract corresponding to the actual point spread difference between the two teams, and 0 for all other contracts. Traders holding the winning contract will receive a payout of 100 per contract, minus any applicable fees.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the game concludes. News regarding key player injuries for either Colorado St. or Utah St. would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they impact the playing conditions, could also shift expectations. Any significant news related to team morale, coaching changes, or unexpected developments in team performance would be closely watched by traders. Public sentiment and betting trends from sportsbooks can also indirectly influence trading activity in this market.
