Description

This prediction market focuses on which team, Colorado Rapids SC or San Jose Earthquakes, will score more goals in the second half of a Major League Soccer (MLS) match, including any stoppage time. A 'Draw' outcome is possible if both teams score the same number of goals in the second half. The markets specify resolution procedures if the game is postponed or canceled.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms utilize identical logic for determining the second-half winner, draw conditions, and handling of game postponements or cancellations.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers (with fallback to Flashscore, Sofascore, or consensus reporting).

Core resolution logic:

  • The team scoring more goals in the second half (including stoppage time) wins.
  • If both teams score the same number of goals, the market resolves to 'Draw'.
  • If the game is postponed, the market remains open until completion.
  • If the game is canceled, the market resolves to 'Draw'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • No Goals Scored: If no goals are scored by either team in the second half, the market resolves to 'Draw'.
  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours of the match's conclusion, the markets will utilize Flashscore, then Sofascore, and finally a consensus of credible reporting.
Timing: Resolution will occur within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, or as soon as official statistics are available, whichever is sooner. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, the market will resolve 50-50 or to 'Draw' where applicable. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
