Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict use identical resolution criteria regarding the first team to score within the standard 90-minute match duration, handling of postponements, and cancellations.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers, with fallback to Flashscore, Sofascore, and credible reporting.

Core resolution logic:

  • The first team to score during the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time determines the outcome.
  • If neither team scores within the first 90 minutes plus stoppage time, the market resolves to 'Neither'.
  • If the match is canceled without a reschedule, the market resolves to 'Neither'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement: If the game is postponed, the market remains open until the game is completed.
  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours of the match's conclusion, data from Flashscore, Sofascore, or a consensus of credible reporting will be used.
Timing: Resolution will occur after the completion of the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, or upon official cancellation of the match, with a maximum delay of 24 hours for data availability. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
