In the upcoming FIFA International Friendlies game between Colombia and Peru, scheduled for October 6, 2026 at 7:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Colombia vs. Peru match originally scheduled for October 6, 2026 at 7:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from those initially set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines to balance their risk, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. As more information becomes available – such as team news or injury reports – the odds on Predict may move closer to, or diverge further from, sportsbook offerings. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional bookmakers in accuracy, especially when a significant amount of volume is traded.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different exact scores. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of traders about the likelihood of that score occurring. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are incentivized to offer accurate assessments, as profitable trades depend on correctly predicting the final result. The market efficiently incorporates new information as it becomes available, leading to dynamic price adjustments.
This market resolves around Oct 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the Colombia vs. Peru match will be used to determine the winning contract. Any disputes regarding the official score will be addressed using widely accepted sports data sources. The resolution process aims to be transparent and based on objective, publicly available information, ensuring a fair outcome for all traders in this market.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Major news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Colombia or Peru would likely cause shifts in the odds. Unexpected changes in team formations or coaching strategies could also influence trader sentiment. Even external factors, such as weather conditions on match day, could play a role. Any significant development that alters perceptions of each team's chances of scoring will likely be reflected in the trading volume and price movements of this market.
