Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance betting action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on individuals directly wagering on their beliefs about the outcome. If sportsbook odds significantly diverge from those seen here, it may indicate differing opinions on the likely winner. It's common to see prediction markets more accurately forecast probabilities, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available. However, sportsbook odds still offer a valuable comparison point for assessing the overall expectations.
