This market assesses various scoring thresholds for the first half of a college football game between Coastal Carolina and Georgia State. Each threshold represents a different level of scoring performance expected in the initial 30 minutes of play.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams combined during the first half of the Coastal Carolina vs Georgia State college football game scheduled for October 31, 2026. For any market, if the combined score exceeds the specified threshold (e.g., Over 2.5 points, Over 6.5 points, etc.), the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. Only points scored in the official first half count toward resolution. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of its original scheduled start time, all markets remain open and resolve based on the final official result of that game. If the game fails to start within the 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants regardless of the specific threshold being evaluated.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks establish lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows a broader range of participants to express their beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, particularly when public sentiment strongly diverges from expert analysis. It's common to see prediction markets incorporate information and perspectives that sportsbooks might overlook, potentially offering a different view on the likely outcome of the first half.
