Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi use identical resolution logic based on the final score after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with CBF.com.br as the primary official source, and both resolve 50-50 if the game is canceled entirely.
Primary resolution logic:
Official final score published on cbf.com.br (Confederação Brasileira de Futebol); if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, consensus of credible reporting may be used.
Core resolution logic:
Spread markets (Remo -1.5, Cruzeiro -1.5, Remo -2.5, Cruzeiro -2.5) resolve YES if the named team wins by the specified margin or greater; otherwise resolve NO.
Over/Under markets (1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5) resolve YES if combined goals meet or exceed the threshold; otherwise resolve NO.
Both Teams to Score resolves YES if each team scores at least one goal; resolves NO if either team scores zero.
Resolution is based solely on the result within 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time; extra time and penalties are excluded.
If the game is postponed, markets remain open until completion. If canceled entirely with no makeup game, all markets resolve 50-50.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Game Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets in this group remain open and unresolved until the game is completed and the official final score is published.
Game Cancellation: If the game is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, all markets in this group resolve 50-50.
Incomplete Match: If the game is started but not completed (e.g., abandoned), resolution follows the official final score as published by CBF, or if unavailable within 2 hours, consensus of credible reporting.
Extra Time and Penalties: Resolution is based exclusively on the 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time; any goals scored in extra time or penalties are not counted.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final score by CBF.com.br after the match concludes (90 minutes plus stoppage time). If the official source does not publish within 2 hours post-match, resolution may proceed based on consensus of credible reporting.
