In the upcoming Liga MX game between Club Tijuana and Club Puebla, scheduled for October 16, 2026 at 11:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Club Tijuana vs. Club Puebla match originally scheduled for October 16, 2026 at 11:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly assess probabilities. Often, prediction markets aggregate diverse opinions and can be more accurate than initial sportsbook lines, especially as more information becomes available. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes reflect sharper, more informed betting activity from professional gamblers, creating a contrast with the broader crowd wisdom represented in this market. Comparing the two can be a valuable exercise for informed decision-making.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of each share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective wisdom of the crowd. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price movements are driven by supply and demand – if many traders believe Club Tijuana will win 1-0, they’ll buy shares in that outcome, driving up its price and, consequently, its implied probability. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date predictions.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Club Tijuana vs. Club Puebla match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing soccer league, ensuring a transparent and verifiable process. Traders who correctly predicted the exact score will be eligible for payout based on the final share prices at the time of resolution. The outcome will be determined by the official match result.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Club Tijuana or Club Puebla would likely cause shifts in probabilities. Changes in team form, such as a recent string of wins or losses, could also impact trader sentiment. Pre-match analysis from sports commentators and analysts, if it significantly deviates from the current market consensus, might prompt re-evaluation of probabilities. Even weather conditions on match day could play a role, potentially favoring one team's playing style over the other, and thus moving this market.
