All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. As more shares are traded for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. Traders are incentivized to provide accurate predictions, as they profit if their chosen outcome eventuates. The market’s efficiency is driven by the constant flow of information and the desire of traders to capitalize on mispricings.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Santos Laguna vs. Querétaro match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the league organizers. Any potential protests or appeals will be considered only if they result in a change to the officially recorded score. Traders will then be paid out according to their holdings in the winning outcome.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before Oct 17, 2026. Unexpected injuries to key players on either the Santos Laguna or Querétaro FC squads would likely shift the odds. Major tactical changes announced by either manager could also influence trader sentiment. Furthermore, any news regarding team morale, internal conflicts, or even adverse weather conditions affecting the match could cause fluctuations in the market. A surprising result in a preceding match for either team could also lead to a reassessment of their chances.
