The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often incorporating information and analysis not immediately available to traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set initial lines based on team statistics and expert opinions, this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs, potentially leading to odds that differ from those offered elsewhere. These differences can arise from varying levels of information, differing interpretations of data, or simply the collective insight of traders. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to breaking news or changes in team conditions than traditional sportsbooks.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each exact score outcome. The price of each share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the potential results. The current price indicates the collective expectation of the final scoreline, offering a unique perspective beyond simple win/loss predictions.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Club Guarani Asuncion versus Nacional Asuncion match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official result as reported by a recognized sports data provider. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies based on the verified result of the Paraguayan Clasico match. The market will close once the official result is available.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Club Guarani Asuncion or Nacional Asuncion would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they favor one team's playing style, could also influence trading activity. Unexpected tactical announcements from either manager, or even pre-match team lineup confirmations, could lead to adjustments in the perceived probabilities of different exact scores. Public sentiment and late-breaking news coverage surrounding the Paraguayan Clasico match could also play a role.
