Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance their risk and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective predictions of informed traders. This can lead to discrepancies, particularly when there's strong sentiment or new information not yet fully priced into sportsbook lines. It’s common to see differences in implied probabilities, with this market sometimes offering more accurate forecasts based on the aggregated knowledge of participants.
