Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the unique dynamics of each venue. If there’s a significant difference between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it may suggest that market participants have access to information not fully priced into the sportsbook lines, or that they simply interpret the available information differently.
