The markets focus on predicting whether specific Cleveland and Tampa Bay players will achieve certain levels of total bases in an upcoming baseball game. Total bases reflect the combined value of hits a player achieves, with higher thresholds indicating more significant offensive contributions. Outcomes depend on player participation and actual performance during the game.
These markets resolve based on whether designated players record specified thresholds of total bases in the specified game. If a player is scratched, not in the starting lineup, or fails to record a plate appearance, the market resolves at the fair market price. Pinch-hit at-bats do not count toward the total bases tally. Only players who start and record at least one plate appearance contribute to the settlement, with the outcome determined by whether their total bases meet or exceed the threshold defined in each market.
