These markets focus on the interplay between the first half and full game outcomes in a specific football match. Each market requires a particular combination of results in both halves to settle, making them contingent on both short-term and overall game performance.
All markets resolve based on the combined results of the first half and the full game (including overtime) of the Cleveland vs New York J Pro Football game scheduled for Oct 11, 2026. For any market to resolve to 'Yes,' both the specified first half result and the specified full game result must occur exactly as described. If either the first half or full game result does not match the market's conditions, the market resolves to 'No.' Should the game be postponed but commence within 48 hours of the original start time, all markets remain open and resolve based on the official final result. If the game fails to start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets will resolve to a fair price. These rules apply uniformly across all markets for this event.
Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on models and internal analysis, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially early in the market’s life cycle, as prediction markets can incorporate information that sportsbooks haven’t fully accounted for. However, as the event approaches, the odds on Kalshi tend to converge with those found at major sportsbooks.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous double auction, meaning traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will climb. Conversely, if sentiment shifts against an outcome, the price will decrease. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly adapt to new information and changing expectations regarding the Cleveland vs New York match.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Cleveland vs New York match, specifically the 1st Half / Fulltime Result as determined by official league sources. Traders will be able to see the final outcome reflected in their account balances on Kalshi shortly after the event concludes and the result is officially confirmed. The platform will then distribute payouts based on the final outcome and the contracts held by each trader.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before Oct 11, 2026.
