Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a ‘vig’ or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, however, is driven by the collective predictions of users, theoretically resulting in odds that more closely reflect the true probability of an outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set lines based on expert analysis, this market dynamically adjusts as new information and opinions emerge from traders. It's common to see discrepancies, particularly as the event approaches.

On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the market’s assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. As more people buy contracts for a particular outcome, its price increases, indicating growing confidence. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses a continuous double auction, meaning prices are determined by the highest bid and lowest ask at any given moment. This creates a dynamic and responsive pricing mechanism based on supply and demand.

This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Bengals-Ravens game, as reported by a widely recognized sports news source. The platform will then determine the winning outcome and distribute payouts to those who correctly predicted the result. Traders should monitor official sources for the final score to understand when the market will be settled and how their positions will be affected.

Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries on either the Bengals or the Ravens would likely cause a shift in the odds. Major coaching decisions, changes in weather forecasts for the game day, or even significant news coverage influencing public perception could all contribute to price movements. Unexpected developments in team performance during the week leading up to the game, or even pre-game reports about team morale, could also influence trader behavior and cause the market to react.
