On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price movements are driven by supply and demand, responding to news, analysis, and any information that influences perceptions of the match's likely result. This dynamic pricing allows for a constantly updated probability assessment.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the second half of the Chongqing vs. Shandong match will be used to determine the winning share(s). Resolution will be based on the official match result as reported by a trusted sports data source. The platform will verify the outcome against these sources to ensure accuracy and transparency, and shares will be paid out accordingly to those who correctly predicted the result.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team formations, or unexpected weather conditions could shift trader sentiment. Significant pre-match analysis from sports commentators or analysts could also impact the market, especially if it contradicts prevailing expectations. Furthermore, in-match events, such as early goals or red cards, could cause rapid price adjustments as traders react to the unfolding situation. Monitoring these signals is key to understanding potential shifts in the market’s probability assessment.
