Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets aim to represent the true probability of an event occurring as assessed by traders. This market, like others, may show divergence from sportsbook lines due to factors like differing levels of information, varying participant motivations, and the influence of public opinion. It's common to see prediction markets move independently of sportsbooks, especially as new information becomes available or as the event draws closer.
