Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on their own models and risk assessment, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs, leading to dynamic price discovery. Often, you’ll find that prediction market probabilities align with sportsbook odds, but divergences can occur as new information emerges or as different groups of bettors weigh factors differently. It’s valuable to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
