On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. As more shares are purchased for a specific outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds are constantly updated based on the collective intelligence of the traders participating.
This market resolves around Oct 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could influence the odds in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions, or updates on team strategy could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected performance in earlier matches of the China Open could also impact perceptions of each team’s chances. Furthermore, significant betting activity – a large influx of volume on one side – could quickly move the price. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived probability of either team winning will likely cause fluctuations in this market.
