Typically, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while Polymarket allows traders to directly assess the probabilities. This can lead to differences, particularly when there's strong public sentiment or information asymmetry. It’s common to see this market reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially identifying value where sportsbooks might be less accurate. However, sportsbook odds can still be a useful benchmark for understanding broader expectations surrounding the China Open doubles match.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before the China Open doubles match concludes. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or even weather conditions affecting the match schedule could cause significant shifts in trader sentiment. Strong performance by either team in preceding matches, or even expert analysis predicting a specific outcome, could also move the market. Unexpected upsets in other tournament matches could also indirectly impact this market as it alters perceptions of overall player form and momentum.
