This market focuses on evaluating the pitching performance of Sean Burke in an upcoming baseball game between Chicago and Cleveland. It assesses whether Burke, if he starts, can achieve varying levels of strikeout success against the opposing team's batters.
The official rules for these markets collectively govern the resolution based on Sean Burke’s performance as a starting pitcher in the specified game. If Burke is not in the starting rotation or is scratched from the game, all markets resolve to the fair market price. If Burke enters the game in a relief role, regardless of when, these markets also resolve to the fair market price, as relief appearances do not count toward strikeout totals. Only when Burke starts and faces at least one batter will the markets be settled based on the total number of strikeouts he records during his appearance, with each market resolving to 'Yes' if he meets or exceeds its specific strikeout threshold (ranging from 2+ to 8+), and 'No' otherwise. All markets are independent but share these core participation and settlement criteria.
