Description

This market focuses on determining which team will score more runs specifically in the bottom of the ninth inning of an upcoming baseball game. It captures the excitement and potential turning points that can occur in the final inning of a close contest. The outcome depends entirely on the runs scored during that single inning, regardless of the overall game score.

Kalshi

The market resolves based solely on runs scored during the 9th inning of the designated Chicago WS vs Cleveland professional baseball game scheduled for Oct 3, 2026. If Chicago scores more 9th inning runs than Cleveland, that market resolves to Yes. If Cleveland scores more 9th inning runs than Chicago, that market resolves to Yes. If both teams score an equal number of runs in the 9th inning, the Tie market resolves to Yes. Should the game end before the 9th inning is fully completed, all markets resolve at Fair Price. The resolution depends strictly on 9th inning performance, even if the home team does not bat in the bottom of the inning, unless the game is called early and the inning remains incomplete.
