Description

This market focuses on predicting which team will lead after the first quarter of a professional basketball game between Chicago and Toronto. It reflects the competitive dynamics early in the match, offering insight into initial performance and momentum. Outcomes depend purely on the scoring during that specific segment of play.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on which team scores more points in the first quarter of the designated Chicago vs. Toronto professional basketball game. If Chicago scores the most points in the first quarter, its market resolves to Yes, and the others resolve to No. If Toronto scores the most points in the first quarter, its market resolves to Yes, and the others resolve to No. If both teams finish the first quarter tied, the Tie market resolves to Yes, and the team-specific markets resolve to No. For postponements, if the game starts within 48 hours of the original scheduled time, the market remains active and resolves based on the actual first-quarter result. If the game is cancelled or fails to start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Only points scored during the first quarter count toward resolution, and Kalshi disclaims any official affiliation with the governing league or ownership of related trademarks.
