These markets track specific combinations of first-half and full-game outcomes in a professional football match between Chicago and Seattle. Each market requires both the first-half result and the final game result to match a predetermined scenario for resolution.
All markets resolve based on the combined results of the first half and the full game (including overtime) of the Chicago vs Seattle Pro Football game originally scheduled for Nov 2, 2026. For any market to resolve to Yes, both the specified first-half result and the specified full-game result must occur exactly as stated. If either the first-half or full-game result does not match the market's conditions, the market resolves to No. Postponements that commence within 48 hours of the original scheduled start time allow the market to remain open and resolve based on the official final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of its original scheduled time, the market resolves to a fair price. All markets are independent and require precise alignment of both halves' outcomes to settle positively.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds due to varying information and incentives. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows traders to express their own beliefs about the probability of each outcome. Discrepancies can arise from differing levels of expertise among market participants versus sportsbook analysts, or from the influence of public perception and biases. It’s common to see prediction markets move independently of sportsbook lines as new information emerges.
This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Chicago vs Seattle match, specifically the winner of the first half and the full game. The platform will verify the results against official sources to determine which contracts will pay out. Traders holding contracts for the correct outcome will receive a payout, while those holding contracts for incorrect outcomes will not.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team strategy, or even weather conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about team lineups or key player availability would likely have a significant impact. Furthermore, public perception and media coverage surrounding the teams’ performance can also play a role, as can large volume trades from individual participants on Kalshi. Monitoring these signals can help traders assess potential shifts in the market’s outlook.
