Description

This set of markets tracks how many goals are scored in the third period of an upcoming NHL hockey game between Chicago and New York. Each market corresponds to a different threshold of total goals, determining whether the scoring activity exceeds that benchmark. The outcomes depend solely on the official game result within the specified period.

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams combined in the third period of the Chicago vs New York I NHL game scheduled for October 8, 2026. A 'Yes' outcome occurs when the collective goals exceed the specified threshold for each respective market (0.5, 1.5, or 2.5 goals). Importantly, overtime goals are excluded from all calculations. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain active and resolve according to the final result. If the game is cancelled or fails to start within this 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants across the different goal thresholds.
