Description

These markets track the total number of goals scored by both teams during the second period of an NHL game between Chicago and Detroit. Each market has a different threshold for the number of goals needed to resolve as 'Yes'. The outcomes depend on the actual game score in that specific period, with adjustments for postponements or cancellations.

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the total goals scored by both teams in the second period of the Chicago vs Detroit NHL game scheduled for October 29, 2026. Each market has a distinct threshold—0.5, 1.5, or 2.5 goals—and resolves to 'Yes' if the combined score exceeds its respective threshold. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve according to the final official result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Overtime goals in the third period are excluded from consideration for these second-period-specific markets.
