Description

These markets track how many goals are scored in the third period of an NHL hockey game between Chicago and Buffalo. Each market corresponds to a different threshold of total goals, determining whether the scoring activity exceeds that benchmark. The outcomes depend solely on the official game result, with specific handling for postponements or cancellations.

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams combined in the third period of the Chicago vs Buffalo NHL game scheduled for October 3, 2026, with each market having a distinct threshold (0.5, 1.5, or 2.5 goals). If the cumulative goals exceed the respective threshold, the market resolves to 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves to 'No'. Importantly, third-period markets exclude any goals scored during overtime. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original scheduled time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final official result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants under these conditions.
