Description

This set of markets tracks how many goals each team scores in an upcoming NHL game between Chicago and Boston. Each market specifies a different scoring threshold for Boston or Chicago to exceed. The outcomes depend purely on the final goal count, including any goals scored during overtime or a shootout.

Kalshi

All markets in this event resolve based on the total number of goals scored by either Chicago or Boston in their NHL game scheduled for October 31, 2026. For any market to resolve as 'Yes,' the specified team must score more goals than the threshold stated in that market’s primary rule — for example, Boston must score more than 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, or 5.5 goals, and Chicago must score more than 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, or 5.5 goals. All goals counted toward these totals include those scored in regular time, overtime, and, if applicable, the shootout. Specifically, if the game proceeds to a shootout, the shootout-winning team is credited with one additional goal, which counts toward the team total for resolution purposes. Each market operates independently, meaning the resolution of one does not affect the others; they each assess the final goal count against their unique threshold.
