Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds due to varying information sources and incentives. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders predicting the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, arbitrage opportunities may arise, as traders could potentially profit by betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. It’s important to compare odds across sources to make informed decisions.
