On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the share price will climb, and vice-versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the collective intelligence of those trading on the platform.
This market resolves around Oct 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be based on the official result declared by the relevant sporting authorities following the Cherdivar vs. Butnaru fight. The platform will verify the outcome against these sources to determine which shares will pay out and at what value. Traders should monitor official announcements for the definitive result.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding fighter injuries, changes in training regimens, or public statements from either Cherdivar or Butnaru could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected analysis from boxing experts, or significant betting activity in traditional sportsbooks, might also impact the probabilities reflected on Polymarket. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of each fighter's chances of winning has the potential to move this market.
