In the upcoming Chinese Super League game between Chengdu Rongcheng FC and Tianjin Jinmen Hu FC, scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 7:35 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Chengdu Rongcheng FC vs. Tianjin Jinmen Hu FC match originally scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 7:35 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially incorporating information and analysis beyond what's readily available to traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set odds based on statistical models and expert opinions, this market allows anyone to participate and express their beliefs, leading to potentially different probabilities. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of information, biases, or simply the dynamics of supply and demand within the prediction market. It’s common to see prediction markets offer a more nuanced view, especially as the event approaches and more information surfaces.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective assessment of the event’s likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand—if many traders believe a particular outcome is likely, they’ll buy shares, driving up the price, and vice versa. This creates a dynamic and responsive pricing system.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result of the Chengdu vs. Tianjin match, as officially recorded by a recognized sports data provider, will determine the winning outcome. The market will settle to 100% probability for the correct exact scoreline and 0% for all other possibilities. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive a payout based on the final market price at resolution, while those holding shares in losing outcomes will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team lineups, player injuries, or changes in coaching staff could significantly shift probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions or controversies surrounding the match could also play a role. Furthermore, public sentiment and analysis from sports commentators can impact trader behavior. Major shifts in betting patterns at traditional sportsbooks might also be reflected in this market, as traders often consider information from various sources when making their predictions. Any late-breaking news related to either team has the potential to move the market.
