Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders' beliefs about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook lines, it might suggest that the crowd believes the sportsbook is mispricing the probability of a particular result. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither guarantees the actual outcome.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact first-half scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price movements are influenced by factors like team news, injuries, and pre-match analysis, all aggregated through the actions of traders on the platform.
