This market will resolve to "AFC Bournemouth" if AFC Bournemouth are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price reflects the collective intelligence of all participants, constantly adjusting as new information becomes available or opinions shift. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to changing perceptions of the likelihood of either Chelsea or Bournemouth scoring first in the second half.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which team—Chelsea or AFC Bournemouth—scores the first goal in the second half of the match. The result will be based on official match data and verified against credible public sources. The platform will then finalize the outcome and distribute payouts to those who correctly predicted the first team to score in the second half, based on the share prices at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Chelsea or Bournemouth would likely cause shifts in the odds. Tactical changes announced by either manager, such as a change in formation or starting lineup, could also impact the market. Furthermore, live game events during the first half, like a red card or an early goal, could significantly alter perceptions of which team is more likely to score first in the second half. Overall team form and recent performance are also key signals traders will be watching.
