Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds here will adjust accordingly. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the collective intelligence of the prediction market participants regarding the potential for 11 or more corners in the Chelsea-Tottenham match.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell contracts representing the potential outcomes. The price of a contract reflects the market's assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the price fluctuates, providing a real-time indication of the collective forecast for whether Chelsea and Tottenham will have 11 or more total corners. The current price indicates the cost to take one side of the bet, and the implied probability reflects the market's overall expectation.

This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the total number of corners awarded to both Chelsea and Tottenham during the match will be tallied. If the combined corner count is 11 or more, the 'yes' outcome will prevail. If the total is 10 or fewer, the 'no' outcome will be considered the result. The final result will be based on official match data and will be independently verified to ensure accuracy and fairness for all participants in this market.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before Oct 25, 2026. Late-breaking news regarding key players – such as injuries to attacking players who might draw fouls and corners, or suspensions to players known for corner-winning ability – could significantly shift expectations. Tactical previews and team news suggesting a more attacking or defensive approach from either side could also impact trading activity. Even weather conditions, such as strong winds, could affect the style of play and the likelihood of corners being awarded, leading to movement in this market.
