Description

This market will resolve to "YES" if the combined total number of goals scored by Chelsea and Bournemouth is 3 or higher during regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time only) in the Premier League match scheduled for October 10, 2026, 14:00 UTC. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "50-50." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, aims to represent the true probability of the event occurring. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, this market evolves as more information becomes available and more people weigh in. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions, risk assessments, and the influence of public sentiment. It’s often insightful to compare the two to identify potential value.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing the outcome. The price of these contracts directly reflects the market's implied probability of 3 or more goals being scored. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of that probability. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price indicates what traders believe is a fair price to bet on this outcome, considering all available information. Higher volume generally leads to more accurate pricing, as it represents a broader range of opinions.

This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final goal count from the Chelsea versus Bournemouth match will be used to determine whether 3 or more goals were scored. Resolution will be based on official match statistics, and the market will settle to 100% if the condition is met, or 0% if it is not. Traders will be able to claim their winnings or adjust their positions once the outcome is officially declared and verified.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Chelsea or Bournemouth would likely have a significant impact. Tactical changes announced by either manager, particularly those affecting attacking lineups, could also shift the market. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, such as heavy rain or strong winds, might also influence expectations about the number of goals scored. Finally, any late-breaking news about team morale or internal conflicts could also move this market as traders react to new information.
