Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. If a significant discrepancy emerges between this market and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that prediction market traders believe the sportsbook has mispriced the event. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither is guaranteed to be correct.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether both Chelsea and Bournemouth will score. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, directly reflecting the collective prediction of the traders. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This means the price isn’t determined by a central authority but emerges from the interactions of participants, creating a dynamic and potentially more accurate assessment of the event's probability. The current price reflects the market’s consensus view.

This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether both Chelsea and Bournemouth score at least one goal during the match. Official match data will be used to determine if both teams have found the back of the net. The result will be based on the final scoreline of the game, as reported by official sources, and will settle the contracts traded in this market.

Several factors could influence the price of this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Chelsea or Bournemouth would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected news regarding team morale or internal conflicts could also play a role. Any information that alters the perceived likelihood of goals from either side will likely be reflected in the market price.
