Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set initial odds based on their own analysis, while this market’s prices are driven by the collective predictions of many individual traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of trading activity. It’s common to see prediction markets incorporate new information more rapidly than sportsbooks, especially as the event approaches and more data becomes available.
