If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, incorporating a profit margin, while this market relies on individuals trading based on their own analysis. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is mispricing a particular outcome, they can express that view by trading on Polymarket, potentially driving the odds closer to what they perceive as the true probability. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant news or events impact perceptions.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect new information and changing sentiment. The market’s depth – the number of shares available at different price points – indicates the level of confidence traders have in each possible result. Volume plays a key role, as higher volume generally suggests greater agreement.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Charleston Battery vs. Rhode Island FC match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the officially recorded result of the game, including any potential extra time or penalty shootouts if applicable. The platform will then determine the winning share(s) based on the final score, and payouts will be distributed accordingly to those who correctly predicted the exact result. Traders should monitor official sources for the final score to understand the resolution process.
Several factors could influence trading activity and move this market. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either the Charleston Battery or Rhode Island FC would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather forecasts could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the game’s venue or kickoff time could also create volatility. Finally, significant bets placed by well-known or respected traders on Polymarket could trigger further movement as others react to their actions.
