Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. If a significant number of participants believe a sportsbook is mispricing an outcome, the prediction market odds can diverge. It's common to see prediction markets more accurately forecast events, especially when there’s strong public interest and informed trading activity.
